ER Marketing Work

At ER Marketing, I served as the sole copywriter for around 20 agency clients, adapting to all of their different brand personas, audiences, and rules quickly. It was a small agency — we had to be scrappy. A perfect place for a young copywriter to cut their teeth, with opportunities ranging from B2B to B2C, digital to print, social media to sales promotions. We did it all, and that means I got the opportunity to write it all.

Oh man, was this client cheesy. But they were a lot of fun to work for — we got to do a light rebrand including new taglines and tons of fun wearables and promo items for their event marketing-heavy focus.

A building products distributor may not sound like the sexiest client ever, but there was something awesome about working on a client with a very specific, very distinct audience — hyper masculine building pros who couldn’t be further from my own personality type. But getting into their mindset made it easy to get excited about the work.
